SW-MOTECH has manufactured this cylinder guard to fit the BMW R 1300 GS. The protectors fit seamlessly into the design of the motorcycle.
These specially designed guards fit seamlessly into the design of the BMW and protect the boxer cover against damage from rocks and falls. With just three screws per side, the protector is easily mounted onto existing attachment points. The cylinder guard consists of a laser-cut aluminum mounting bracket and a CNC-milled aluminum slider pad. It also has a rubber shock-absorber on the inside.

Beautifully cut and shaped guards. Excellent paint finish. Mechanical attachment points are accurately positioned and had good alignment play for fine adjustment. Easy to fit provided one takes time to identify all the parts indicated in the fitting instructions and then carry out installation. I did a test run on assembly before final loctite and torque up. I believe these cylinder guards will give adequate protection on a sealed surface which was my main purchase requirement. They do look the part. Happy customer.
